Here are some some stills from Richard Condie's computer animation La Salla.

It was nominated for an Academy Award and we went to Hollywood to try to collect.
They didn't give us one, but we got to eat tiny Wolfgang Puck pizzas and drink cheap champagne.
This was a very complicated bit of work for both of us.
I wrote all the music and created the sound effects.
Jay Brazeau was the singer we tormented and Richard suffered the most, as usual.
He is the voice of Jimmy the Talking bottle who is an Italian opera buff and makes incessant references to Tosca.
I also suffered, as we had to do the singing first so Richard could do the lip synching.
Then when the animation was finished, I wrote the music from beginning to end connecting all the vocals.
We nearly tore our own heads off.
That was the best one, you wrecked it, I'll never be able to do it again.
You wrecked that one.

You can watch La Salla at The National Film Board of Canada.
